The quality of Bodegas Nodus wines has once again been recognized outside our borders. On this occasion, Chaval Tinto 2018 has won a gold medal in the prestigious USA Wine Ratings 2021 contest, to which it was presented by the friends of Tri-Vin Imports, Inc.

Chaval Tinto is the young red wine from Bodegas Nodus, a wine committed to creativity and that seeks to tell a story with each bottle. Its surprising character and its sustainable cultivation, certified organic and vegan, have convinced the professional jury of the USA Wine Ratings, which has assessed the quality, value and label of hundreds of wines in this edition. The contest, in fact, “seeks to set a new benchmark for award-winning wines by evaluating them for their quality, value for money and how they look with their packaging and design.” “We are told never to judge a book by its cover. This is very much the approach taken by most wine competitions around the world who only judge a wine on its taste, with absolutely no regard for what it looks like and often how much it costs”, stand out from the organization.

Our Chaval Tinto, like the rest of the wines in the ‘chavales’ family, is a wine committed to organic farming. It is a treasure that keeps the essence of our vineyards, our identity and our roots. A young wine with very fruity notes of bobal that continues to win awards, as this year it has received mentions in the Gilbert & Gaillard competition and in the Sakura Japan Women’s Wine Awards, as well as a score of 92 points in the wine guide James Sucking.
