the tractor of the future

Voltrac, the autonomous vehicle that guarantees maximum innovation in viticulture

Bodegas Nodus hosted the demonstration of the Voltrac in its vineyards, the first dual-use autonomous tractor developed in Spain, thus witnessing one of the most surprising innovations in the field of agrotechnology.

Voltrac was presented at Nodus’s facilities to demonstrate that its operational capabilities extend far beyond cultivation. This 3.5-ton electric vehicle boasts a futuristic design and is capable of transporting up to 4 tons. It can reach speeds of 40 km/h and operate for up to 20 hours thanks to its interchangeable batteries.

By day, this tractor works the field with pinpoint precision, analyzing the terrain in real time and optimizing the use of resources such as water, fertilizers, and energy. By night, it can be converted into a logistics support robot. It operates via remote control or autonomous driving.

Voltrac’s visit has reinforced our belief that the countryside is changing, and with it, the way we cultivate, manage, and plan for viticulture.

We firmly believe in the importance of bringing innovation to the field, and these types of technologies improve efficiency and lead us towards a more sustainable agriculture.
