Verema NewWine competition

Bodegas Nodus starts the year with great success in the 14th edition of the Competition

We started the year with excellent news: two of our wines have won medals at the 14th edition of one of the most highly regarded competitions in the wine world, the Verema NewWine Competition.

  • Nodus Tinto de Autor 20 Aniversario 2022 – Grand Gold Medal

Our Nodus Tinto de Autor 20 Aniversario is a wine of great quality and character, celebrating two decades of excellence and passion in the production of signature red wines.

This wine is made from a select blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Bobal grapes, all sourced from Bodegas Nodus’ finest organic vineyards. This varietal richness gives it a unique character.

After patient maceration with the skins, the wine develops firm, structured tannins, balancing ripe fruit with the toasty notes imparted by its barrel aging. The result is an elegant and complex red wine, cherry red in color with violet highlights, aromas of ripe fruit, toast, and subtle hints of tobacco, and a pleasant palate with a slightly sweet touch.

This wine reflects Bodegas Nodus’ commitment to tradition, quality, and innovation.

  • Nodus Sauvignon Blanc 2025 – Gold Medal

Nodus Sauvignon Blanc is an organic white wine that reflects Bodegas Nodus’ commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment.

It is made exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc grapes, harvested at night to preserve the freshness and aromatic potential of the grapes. After harvesting, the must undergoes a short maceration with the skins at a low temperature before pressing, which allows for greater aromatic complexity and varietal expression. The result is a fresh, expressive, and balanced white wine.

Since the 2018 vintage, this wine has been certified as organic, reinforcing our commitment to responsible viticulture.
