Nodus is one of the most renowned Valencian wineries and is located in the interior of the Valencian Community. Nodus has established itself as one of the best Valencian wineries for its quality and values, such as sustainability, innovation, and family tradition.
What makes Nodus stand out among Valencian wineries?
Each bottle of Bodegas Nodus reflects the essence of the land and a family’s passion for creating unique wines. Today, we are one of the most prominent wineries thanks to:
• Our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and respect for tradition.
• Our focus on the native Bobal grape.
• Our commitment to biodiversity.
• A wine tourism offering tailored to our customers’ interests.
Commitment to sustainability and respect for biodiversity
Wine production is carried out using ecological practices that protect the environment. The winery has implemented sustainable viticulture methods to ensure the preservation of native flora and fauna. There is a comprehensive commitment to the environment: a commitment to the use of renewable energy, responsible waste management, the implementation of a wastewater treatment plant, and a 40% reduction in CO2 emissions. All of this reduces the environmental impact and also enhances the quality of our wines.
Innovation: Creating unique wines
Nodus combines tradition with innovation, taking a modern approach to the winemaking process.
Nodus has managed to create wines that stand out for their flavor and distinctive character, with special attention to the native Bobal grape variety, although other varieties are also explored to offer a diverse range. In fact, Nodus is highly recognized for wines made from other varieties that have adapted perfectly to our climate, such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Merlot.

Wine tourism in Nodus
Nodus offers highly engaging experiences for those seeking wine tourism, with a variety of activities to immerse themselves in wine culture: guided tours of the vineyards, tastings of local cuisine at the Ocho Encinas restaurant, and more.
Nodus is committed to sustainable tourism, so all activities are environmentally friendly and allow visitors to connect with nature while discovering the winemaking process.
A family legacy
Nodus is distinguished by having preserved its family essence throughout generations. This legacy has been passed down from generation to generation and is reflected in every stage of the production process, uniting quality, tradition, and passion. Visitors and customers are always offered a warm and personalized service.

The perfect balance between tradition, sustainability and family
Nodus is a reflection of a family legacy that has kept the winemaking tradition alive while integrating sustainable practices and a deep respect for nature.
At Nodus, we’ve managed to strike a balance between the heritage of our vineyards and an innovative approach that champions biodiversity and environmental stewardship. Each Nodus wine embodies the essence of the Valencian soil and the commitment of a family that prioritizes an authentic, environmentally friendly product with a unique personality.
The 450 hectares of the El Renegado estate, surrounded by ancient pine forests and oak trees, are covered with ancient vineyards that have been cultivated and preserved for decades. This land, which Adolfo de las Heras planted almost 40 years ago, represents the beginning of a unique winemaking project that blends tradition and respect for the natural environment.
The winery has evolved under the vision of Adolfo and his son, who have expanded the vineyard with new varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Chardonnay, in addition to the native Bobal. This balance of traditional and innovative grapes reflects Bodegas Nodus’s commitment to winemaking excellence. The winemaking process combines artisanal methods with modern technology, featuring French and American oak barrels, which lend complexity and personality to the wines.
What wines stand out at Bodegas Nodus?
The wine offering at Bodegas Nodus stands out among Valencian wineries for our commitment to quality, innovation, and organic production, which give our wines a unique character.
Among our most renowned wines are wines that capture the essence of the native Bobal variety, such as the Nodus Tinto de Autor, a highly complex multivarietal, and the Nodus Merlot Delirium, which reflects remarkable elegance with notes of ripe fruit and spices.
Among the whites, Nodus Chardonnay stands out for its freshness and aromas of tropical fruits, the result of a night-time harvest that preserves the grape’s natural aromas to the fullest. Meanwhile, our Chaval wine is a young, vibrant, high-quality wine that showcases the most casual and fresh version of Nodus.
Our product range is completed with spirits such as NGin VLC, a gin made with local ingredients, and our Descaro vermouth, available in white and red versions.
This varied offering of wines and spirits showcases Nodus’ versatility and positions us as a pioneering winery in the Valencian Community.
